John uses a myriad of materials: from white clay to terracotta & his wide array of customary glazes, everything is sourced intentionally.

Nestled into a scenic enclave off the Malibu Coast, the studio is surrounded by natural inspirations. Whether it's the venerable sycamore and olive trees outside the studio window, or the ecosystem of native wild life that creates Malibu, our studio is surrounded by natural beauty to spark artistic expression.
